Just a quick post to say that you can read a feature I wrote for Physics World about The Secret Science of Baby here.
It picks out three topics covered in the book — the physics of swimming sperm, the fascinating mechanics of the placenta as well as the surprising link between learning language and the physics of phase transitions.
